Arts and Brushes

Today, i went to Deviantart and searched for some brushes n vectors to be used in my future assignments. I found quite many brushes n vectors that look unique in their own ways. So i downloaded them one after one. I saved them into a folder and loaded them into my Photoshop. Though i having some lagness problem whenever i start my Photoshop, this problem will be solved after i fork out couple hundred ringgit for RAMs in future time! Vista sucked all my current RAM. Thought of downgrading to XP but i still wanna stick to this Vista. It's just pretty and 'fast'. T_T

Anyway, i decided to play the brushes and vectors despite the lagness im facing. I used a lot of brushes but not all of them. The result seem nice, although damn damn damn messy. I got no attention of making any wallpaper, random pictures, or art. I just testing the brushed n vectors. It took me several minutes only. And ....

At last, i managed to produce a thing, yet to called a picture.

This picture look attracting FROM FAR, NOT NEAR! Maybe it's too messy to be up close. hehe! Anyway, I have yet many things to learn about the usage of these brushes and vectors. Photoshop is just great program to make a wonder out of nothing or scraps.

Ah.... After looking through my memory card in my old antique digital camera, Nikon 3200, i found a picture that so nice and damn 'yeng' to be posted. However, some photoshoping skills are needed to enhanced the picture quality. So I looked through several online tutorials and found some basic tutorials that change a current picture background into colorful, blur or to new background.

So, i loaded my *ahem* Adobe Photoshop CS3 and begun editing one picture of my collection. haha! Took me quite a while to do photoshoping due to lack of RAM in Vista Ultimate! ARGH! Needed more RAMs and HDs!! Putting that aside, i managed to follow through those tutorials, and i improvised it and make a fun of the picture.

1. Color Overlay

Nothing much different. Barely notice any different also. Just blue and yellow added onto the background, that's all.

2. Blur

I kinda like this type. It more focus onto a subject in the picture. Example, we all could see Mr. Lau Wei Liang is posing a pose!


3. FF(For Fun)

This is NBTD (Nothing better to do) work. After completing those two tutorials, i got an idea and started to edit a picture as above. Hehe! All purely basic stuffs. I need to learn more skills.

I wanted to change my template/skin of my blog. Anyone care to teach me? Or pass me a link to the tutorials?

Jota Joti 2007 Bukit Mertajam

Guess what? Im back from my busiest 5days. I almost died in the progress due to lack of sleep. Barely slept for 20hours in those 5days. Sigh! As u all know, last Friday was the opening of the JotaJoti Camp. So many people attended the camp. Man, i almost lost count (actually i did) of the number of participants. Haha! Everything looked so smooth but in real, everything was messy and unplanned! My god! The 1st day enough to 'KO' everyone in the Headquarter (HQ). Imagine hundred of t-shirts, badges, scarfs being packed into troops who attended the camp. Better skip all the minor reports or details. Back to the things I got from Jota is :

Those are the freebies i got from Jota. hehe! I think i heard a lot of problems in the HQ, ranging from minor to major problems. I dont know whether it's true or not. sigh! I hardly gets any sleep from the starting of the camp. But after a blink of eyes, i made it through it. It's Sunday, last day of the camp. Everyone managed to go home early except the community of this Jota camp. Sigh! Got a last meeting. Usually about money. Well, this is a TOP SECRET. cannot tell anyone. hehe!

As usual, after the boring meeting, i straight went home and ate my dinner with my family with my sleepy mode. Upon arrival at home, i straight went to sleep for couple of hours before i head to Petaling Jaya! Will update it one day. :)

Even though it came with Freedos, I found that I'm using Vista Ultimate. Power gila! I feel in love with Vista despite its resource -hungry OS. Therefore, I will be getting 2x1GB RAM in the incoming PC Fair. With C2D, it processes faster than my P4 2.6Ghz desktop that left stranded in Petaling Jaya. Sooner or later, this desktop will be back to Penang and will be replace by this powerful laptop of mine. Keke!


Hhmm.. something wrong with my camera or I'm seeing two laptops? :P


In coming weekend, I will be busy like those students rushing to complete their assignments before the due date. Haiz! As you all know this weekend, there will be a "JotaJoti" camp for scouts and guides(included Renjer too). In conjunction with the 100th years anniversary of the Scout Society, there will be estimated 400peoples and counting participating in this memorable camp. And sure got lot of girls attending the camp. I will try to capture as many pictures as possible during the 3days 2nights camp which start on Friday evening till Sunday afternoon.

Bouncing back...

It's been 4 months since my last update. And I just finished a semester in my new university life. Had lots of fun and rushing during that semester. I also meet a lot of new friends from across nationwide. It's marvellous! Simply to say I'm glad to knew these friends in UTAR. Hehe!

Beside that, I will be more 'active' in blogging due to demand of a 'toi toi' friend of mine. Haha! Actually got more friends wanted to know about doings of mine. Hehe! So just stay back and wait for me to update this blog once I'm back to Penang, my hometown 'wa shi penang lang'. Hehe!
